The Co-Working Project "Webcity Berlin"
The team of webworkers at w2on has accompanied startups for many years before, during and after founding their business, with the aim of establishing long-term market success. With the online portal unternehmenswelt.de, we currently serve approximately 10% of all startups in Germany, of which monthly about 200 startups come from Berlin. Everyone part of Berlin's startup scene knows that here in Berlin there is a very high demand for affordable co-working workspaces.
As a result of this situation, the idea for "Webcity Berlin" came into being. The co-working center serves freelancers and startups in the Internet industry from Berlin as daily point of contact. Our tenants are web developers, web designers, online marketers and online portal and product managers who can independently and intensively develop their projects and become economically successful.
What Is Our Main Focus?
Because "Webcity Berlin" specializes in Internet startups, meaning start-ups with a web-based business model, the question is justifed, as to why the project is not settled in the center of Berlin, known as Berlin Mitte, where most web startups are located today. Why is the property centered in the creative environment of the Revaler Straße 99 in the district of Friedrichshain/Kreuzberg?
The answer is simple.
Webcity Berlin, which will join, as no other concept has, life and work, is, for this approach, much better suited in the creative district of Friedrichshain/Kreuzberg rather than Berlin Mitte. Many tenants live near the property of "Webcity Berlin", which could in the future mean that they work directly in front of their doorstep. In addition, from the beginning we have paid attention to creating affordable structures for tenants; therefore, tenants will not find luxury offices, but rather a simple environment, which allows them to concentrate on the essentials.Will the costs remain manageable for me?
